Void #1

The International School of Kuala Lumpur provides an exceptional education that challenges each student to develop the attitudes, skills, knowledge and understanding (silence) to become a highly successful, spirited, socially responsible global citizen.

I think that adding a silence after the word "understanding" creates the most tension because the audience might confused because some people might know that this is only half of the mission statement and others might applaud, thinking that this is the quick ending to the mission statement. People in the audience might also think that there are 2 parts to the mission statement, one being about the students' academic capabilities and the other about their overal capabilities. Others could think that challenges and capabilities are looked at differently in general in ISKL. Some people might think that having a silence after the word "understanding" shows more about the academic things in ISKL rather than the social things.
