Finally...some progress.

I think it is great that there is finally some progress on the world goals which the world governments agreed to help with by 2015. I think that now they realize that it has been 9 years since they made the pledge and 2015 is getting pretty close. They start to take action because they know the shame, danger and embarassment that they will have upon their own countries if they don't help. Free health care for the needy and 30%-10,000 less people under the age of 5 dying around the world. People are starting to care now..STARTING. They should have started caring long ago, then we wouldn't have had this problem in the first place. Because of the greed, people die every day(deaths lessen every year) and because of those governments who never cared fro their people and only had wars...

Response to Jeremy Gilley video

I think the Jeremy Gilley video was interesting, because he tells that before he thought of it himself, there was no day of peace or date or anything big about peace, so he set out to try and achieve such a feat. I think it is amazing that one person can make such a big difference to the world.

What are global issues and why do I care?

Global issues are like global warming and war, global issues are all issues that are bad to all around the world, things that make everyone unhappy, things that can kill children and adults all over the world. I care because it is unfair to those who don't have money from their government or those who don't have their basic needs, which were supposed to be given by their local government as ordered by the UN(United Nations). All people should be equal and have peace, otherwise there WILL BE global issues! If we make all the world fair (which we won't, because some people just have to be evil to others) then we wont have to have money or anything (Which won't happen). The world will never be fair until there are none who cannot commit to peace, until there are no people that HAVE TO be evil or mean.
